Privacy notice.

This notice explains what Harry's does with the personal information you give us through this website.

Who we are

Harry's Property Maintenance is the data controller for the information collected through this website. You can reach us at hello@harrys.je.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through the website we collect:

• your name
• your email address
• your telephone number, if you give it
• the parish or location of the property
• anything you write in the notes field

We do not use advertising cookies or analytics that track you across other websites.

Why we hold it

We use your details to answer your enquiry, arrange a visit and send you a plan or proposal. If you become a customer, we keep the details to run your service and to contact you about the work. We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing.

Our legal basis

We process your information on the basis of legitimate interests, which is responding to an enquiry you have sent us. If you go on to take a service from us, we process it to perform our contract with you.

Who else sees it

Enquiries are handled by Netlify, who host this website and receive form submissions on our behalf, and by Google, who provide our email. Both act as processors under contract and neither uses your information for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after 12 months. Customer records are kept for as long as we provide the service and for 6 years afterwards, which is the period we need them for tax and insurance.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Write to hello@harrys.je and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner.
